UTE Ontology Audit — Results Snapshot (as of Jan 3, 2026)
Using the UTE Ontology Audit Methodology and the current constraint dossiers, this page summarizes the current standing of candidate ontologies. This is a living audit: scores are expected to change as evidence is strengthened, downgraded, or falsified.
Current leader (provisional): C7 — Holographic Process-Informational Idealism (HPII)
Net Score: +44
HPII currently leads because it acts as an integrative “stack” that (a) adopts an idealist substrate similar to Analytic Idealism (C5), (b) accommodates information-theoretic / holographic physics constraints (e.g., A2/A3-type issues), and (c) treats bioelectric pattern control (C1-type mechanisms) as a real control layer rather than a side effect. It is also the only candidate in this scoring pass that remains compatible with the highest-impact “kill-switch” constraints currently prioritized on the site (including C1 and E2) while maintaining physics hygiene across the A-series constraints.
Scoring key
+2 (Natural prediction): the model predicts the phenomenon as a core feature
+1 (Compatible): the model can accommodate the phenomenon with auxiliary assumptions
0 (Neutral): agnostic / non-discriminatory
−1 (Strained): requires significant patches or explanatory debt
−2 (Incompatible): conflicts with a core axiom under the current evidence standard
Scores are weighted using the current methodology weights. Full traceability is provided via the Audit Trail and Decision Log.
How to interpret this page
This is not a claim of proof. It is an evidence-graded, versioned snapshot.
Each score is intended to be traceable to specific constraint anchors and citations.
Selection note: This audit is conditioned on a registry of high-impact anomalies and failure modes, so it is not a surprise that Generator Physicalism scores poorly here. That is by design: we prioritize edge cases where models diverge, not domains where the Standard Model already performs extremely well.
High-level notes (why the top clusters land where they do)
C7 (HPII) leads in this pass because it integrates physics constraints, mind constraints, and biological control constraints into a single layered mechanism with comparatively low explanatory debt.
C5 (Analytic Idealism) remains a strong baseline architecture on mind-first premises, but does less work on explicit physics-mechanism integration in this scoring pass.
C8 (Computational/Ruliad-style approaches) score strongly on physics-side constraints but require additional commitments to account for mind/qualia constraints without importing an idealist substrate.
Try the interactive research tool (beta) to drill into the constraints and evidence, see where Physicalism is strained under the audit, and explore how the current working model (HPII) attempts to resolve the conflicting data.
